Commercial Accountant | North Liverpool | £45,000 - £50,000, 25 days holiday, excellent and modern working environment and development | Consumer Services
Established for over 25 years this is an AIM listed industry leading consumer services businesses. This is a modern, fast moving and successful business based on great foundations of excellent customer services and a wide network of partners.
About the role
This is an ideal opportunity for a newly qualified accountant (or latter stages) to move into a very commercially facing role which will partner with many non-finance stakeholders across the whole business. The role is exciting and will add real value to both cost saving and profit increase.
Key Responsibilities
* Performing and investigating variance analysis on cashflow and management accounts
* Business partnering with department heads to control and bring down spend where possible
* Analyse the business’ performance and report findings to management
* Budgeting and forecasts
* Financial modelling where required
* Ownership of bonus and commission
* Controlling fixed assets and balance sheet movements
* Monthly management accounts for a small division
Person profile
* Experienced accountant and excellent Commercial ability
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or nearing completion)
* Advanced MS excel (preferably with modelling experience)
* Excellent analytical and numerical abilities
* Excellent personal skills and ability to challenge others
