Maintenance Technician (Carpentry)
£25,000 - £30,000 + Overtime to increase earnings + 15% Pension + Training + Progression + Company benefits
Are you skilled in basic plumbing and carpentry and looking for a days based role within a beautiful and historic educational estate known for their great working environment and company benefits including 15%+ Pension contribution
Join a dedicated team as a General Maintenance Operative, where you will apply your skills across a range of maintenance tasks, contributing to the upkeep of a diverse and beautiful campus estate. You will have the opportunity to take on extra duties / on call to increase your earnings.
You will work both autonomously and in a small team providing basic maintenance duties around the campus.
The person:
* Possesses at least a Level 2 qualification in a relevant field such as plumbing, heating, or carpentry.
* Demonstrates a strong ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Exhibits excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
The Role:
* Perform routine maintenance and repairs across plumbing, heating, and carpentry disciplines.
* Respond to service requests promptly, ensuring high standards of work and minimal disruption to campus operations.
* Participate in an on-call rota, providing essential support and emergency response as needed.
