Electrical Estimator required for our client, an East Anglia-based Electrical Contractor that specialises in commercial and industrial electrical installation contracts and projects across Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, and Essex.
Our client has been in operation for over 40 years within the electrical field, and specialises in electrical projects within healthcare facilities across East Anglia, and the successful Electrical Estimator will be based from their offices near Bury-St-Edmunds, estimating on projects ranging in value from £500k up to £2m for consultancies and main contractors.
Electrical Estimator Position Responsibilities
* Analysing electrical drawings, site specifications, and documentation in order to create specific and accurate estimates for electrical works
* Costing of materials, labour, and supplies for projects
* Working alongside internal teams throughout the bidding process
* Completing site surveys at times for potential electrical projects, and for visits with existing and prospective clients
* Officed based near Bury-St-Edmunds, with site visits across East Anglia
Electrical Estimator Position Requirements
* Strong background within electrical project estimating, with a demonstrable portfolio of projects costed on with a range of values
* Specific commercial and industrial experience essential
* Any experience within the healthcare sector highly desirable
* Based within a commutable distance of Bury-St-Edmunds
* Full UK driving licence
Electrical Estimator Position Remuneration
* Salary circa £50,000 (negotiable depending on experience)
* Company car provided
* BUPA Healthcare scheme
* 30 days holiday, including bank holidays (rising with tenure)
* Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
* Potential for hybrid working after probationary period
