* Developing and implementing sourcing strategies
* Managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts
* Analyzing and calculating costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure
* Overseeing supply needs and managing inventory levels
* Ensuring the delivery of high-quality goods within the set timelines
* Collaborating with stakeholders to forecast demand and establish supply parameters
* Implementing effective procurement proposals
* Staying abreast with industry trends and market conditions
Profile
A successful ’Senior Buyer’ should have:
* A relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification in Procurement & Supply Chain Management
* Experience in a similar role within the Industrial / Manufacturing sector
* Strong negotiation and networking skills
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
* Proficiency in relevant procurement software
* Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively with various departments
