An Technology Driven Financial Services Firm is looking for a highly talented Lead Desktop Engineer with financial services experience to join and lead an elite group in group of individuals.
This team have an unlimited tech budget, promote a great culture and are made up of fantastic like-minded individuals.
Role:
* Leading a small team across all L1-L3 issues
* Spending time working on mission-critical infrastructure projects
* Automating anything and everything
* Continuing to expand both their on-prem and cloud storage offering
* Working across different OS.
Skills:
* 8+ years of experience as a Desktop Engineer/Systems Administrator within financial services - ideally for a trading firm
* Some experience leading a small team and being the contact point to the business for that team
* Strong knowledge of automation e.g. PowerShell
* Good understanding of the Windows Infrastructure stack (Server, O365, AD)
* Experience with VMware or Hyper V
* Familiarity with storage is a plus (both on-prem and cloud)
* A Computer Science Degree is heavily advantageous but not essential
