i2i Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with one of the UK’s leading providers of flu vaccinations in their search for a warehouse supervisor on a three-month contract starting in September. The warehouse is located just outside of Cheltenham, where all the vaccines are stored, and distributed together with all the necessary items to each clinic. As a warehouse supervisor you will be responsible for sending out new and receiving old "flu boxes."
Key responsibilities
* Supervise the warehouse team - consisting of 2/3 part time employees
* Ensure all health and safety and other warehouse procedures are followed by all staff members whilst always maintaining a clean & safe working environment
* Deal with goods coming in/out of the warehouse
* Managing warehouse stock & ensuring stock records are always kept up to date
* Picking & packing products ready for dispatch
* Receiving & disposing of used flu boxes in line with health and safety procedures
* Managing logistics & liaising with transport & courier partners
* Liaising with administration team - based in Manchester
Skills required
* Outstanding attention to detail
* Familiarity & proficiency with Microsoft Office products
* A strong willingness to learn new systems
