Job Title: Multi Skilled Engineer

Pay Rate: £17 p/h - £20 p/h DOE

gap personnel are pleased to present this opportunity for a motivated and adaptable Multi Skilled Engineer to join one of Multi Award winning manufacturer in Gloucester, to assist their maintenance department, whilst installing a new furnace.
The Multi-Skilled Engineer will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of whole manufacturing and production. This position involves maintaining, repairing, and improving equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency and quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for both reactive and proactive maintenance tasks, contributing to a high-performing and safety-conscious work environment. You will be able to work across both Mechanical and Electrical disciplines.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Maintenance and Repair
* Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all production equipment to minimise downtime.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, carrying out repairs effectively
* Assist in the implementation of process improvement projects, including machinery upgrades and layout changes.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety within the engineering team.

* Ensure all equipment is maintained in accordance with manufacturer’s guidelines and industry best practices.
Qualifications and Experience required:
* Electrical experience
* Mechanical
* Pumps motors & Fans
* Hydraulics
* Mobile plant FLTs and 360- degree grab repairs
* PPMs
* Casting track repairs
* Welding/fabrication
HNC / HND or higher in an engineering discipline is desirable.
Working shifts and hours :
* Monday - Friday, 7am - 15:30
* Overtime available on Saturday and Sunday
Pay Rate :
* £17 p/h - £20p/h, DOE
Successful candidate needs to be able to present all training and certificates during the interview.
Must have good knowledge, experience and excellent understanding of all aspects of the role.
Interviews will be held on site.
