Associate Director, Client Partnerships
12 month FTC
£72,000 + Excellent Benefits (Holiday: 28 days + bank holidays + generous pension)
This is an exciting opportunity to join a global development charity at an exciting time of working on a new products rollout with their commercial partners. The role of Associate Direct, Client Partnerships is a critical role for the organisation and you have responsibility for leadership of the partnership team delivering a partnership portfolio across FMCG, Retail and Brands commercial partners to support them to deliver their ESG goals. The partnership for is responsible for maximising and growing existing partnership portfolio by working with clients to develop partnership proposition, programmatic interventions, joint advocacy, sector insights and thought leadership, and on wider communications campaigns

* Delivering and ensuring the success of a critical global projects
* Responsible for horizon scanning future opportunities to continue to evolve partner needs
* Building strong senior relationships across global food based FMCG systems
* Leadership and accountability for the delivery partnership portfolio, and setting the strategic direction across the team
* Build strategic relationships
* Lead and motivate the team to be ambitious, high performing and work well cross functionally to deliver existing partnerships and innovation.
Experience required:
* Ideally experience of working with commercial FMCG / Retail and Brand partners and ideally with knowledge of global food commodities.
* Solid experience of directing and leading teams and cross organisational projects
* Knowledge of how to build successful NGO-business partnerships that deliver significant impact across different interventions (bilateral and multi-stakeholder)
* Experience of delivering complex multi-stakeholder and bilateral partnerships
* Proven experience of developing complex multiyear partnerships
* Solid background of building and nurturing senior level relationships with partners to drive income growth
* Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
* Knowledge and understanding of international supply chains, and their impact on poverty in developing countries
* High level organisational skills with the ability to manage a diverse portfolio of work
