Job Description:
Permanent - Full Time - 37.5 Hours
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Design and Planning Co-ordinator to join our East Midlands region, working from our Derby office.
Reporting to our Land & Technical Director, you will be responsible for producing timely and accurate drawings as required, keeping abreast of changes in legislation to ensure they meet building control and planning regulations. However, the role will also involve overseeing best design practice to help create the best product possible for Lovell and our clients.
Attending tender launch meetings and carrying out site visits, you will liaise and support the technical department to ensure technical solutions are incorporated into construction detail whilst communicating with other disciplines to make sure the best design solutions are cost effective and meet the development brief.
You will have previous experience in a similar role, with experience in new build design and build coupled with knowledge of Planning and Building Regulations, current standards and legislation. You’ll be competent in Microsoft Office, with a good knowledge CAD design and Power Project. You will also be up to date on the most recent environmental legislation and issues, with a good understanding of Health and Safety.
