Job Profile: Freight Clerk
Streamline Search are recruiting on behalf of our client. Our client has been established for nearly 30 years and are experienced in the Freight and Logistics industry. They handle importations and exportation’s of all/any cargo’s by multimodal means- Air, Sea, Road & Rail. They are looking for a Freight Clerk with experience of all modes of transport to enhance their busy team.
Freight Clerk - Responsibilities
* Communicating our various customers, suppliers, and sub-contractors such as shipping lines, hauliers, and depots.
* Raising internal files
* Raising Invoices
* Passing supplier invoices and querying where necessary
Freight Clerk - Requirements
* Proven successful track record of 1 year working for a small to medium sized freight forwarder.
* Experience of FCL (Forward Computer Limited) is a plus.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Good communication skills and friendly personality.
* Competent using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
* Strong and dynamic team player.
Freight Clerk- Remunerations
* Monday to Friday 0800-1700hrs
* £22,000-£28,000
* Standard holiday plus bank holidays
* Strong routes of progression
* Onsite parking
* Company pension
