HRGO Recruitment are seeking an Assistant Seed Processing Operator to work for our client’s successful farm equipment supplier based in Sherborne. We are looking for someone who is motivated with a can-do attitude to work alongside an operator, taking machines to farms, helping with large bags of seeds and changing over equipment.
The role will be hands on and outdoors so the successful candidate must be happy to work in this environment.
General Duties:
* Assist with all aspects of getting grain storage kit out on farms via client’s transport
* Assist one of the full-time operators. At this point of the year your time will be split between seed processing and grain storage equipment dispatch.
* By mid-August most of your time will be spent with the seed processing department, this will be the case until late October.
* You will run the machine alongside one of our full-time operators.
Requirements:
* Must have a driver’s licence (due to location)
* Must have safety boots (can be provided)
* Must be able to work long hours
* Must be happy to work outdoors
* Candidates need to be motivated and ready to help operators where needed
