Join our team and make a difference
Are you passionate about sustainable water management and interested in changing the way we think about and manage water across our region? Are you keen to make a difference and help deliver an industry leading project in partnership with a wide variety of stakeholders?
If this sounds like you, and you are looking to develop a career in project management then we have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team as a Project Co-ordinator; working with the project and programme managers to deliver the innovative Ofwat funded ’Enabling Water Smart Communities’ project.
As a proven method of reducing water consumption and tackling flood risks, integrated water management is key in addressing a variety of challenges faced by the UK’s water industry. This project aims to identify and eliminate some of the key barriers preventing the adoption of integrated water management solutions within the UK housing sector.
To deliver this project we must rethink what different parties value in relation to water, rethink how assets are delivered and managed, and rethink the roles of different actors in the development cycle, supporting communities and the environment to thrive.
As project coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring a consistent and cohesive approach to project delivery, co-ordinating various partners and maintaining the day-to-day management of the project budget and programme.
This role sits within the Sustainable Growth Team within the Quality and Environment Directorate but will be working alongside a wide variety of other teams throughout Anglian Water.
