Location: Luton
Status: Permanent, Full-time
Note: Office Based
Holiday: 28 days including bank holidays
 
My client specialises in designing and building exhibition stands, showroom and office interiors, point of sale units, and PPE. I am seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager or Director to lead a sales team and drive business growth. This position reports directly to the Senior Management team.
 
Core Responsibilities
·Develop and implement a clear strategic sales plan to meet commercial goals.
·Monitor and adjust the sales process to align with strategic changes, measuring and reporting on successes and areas for improvement.
·Prepare and manage sales department forecasts and activity reports, setting performance goals for individual sales consultants. Manage these targets through a CRM system.
·Review market analyses to ensure we remain a preferred partner, determining customer and market needs and maintaining competitiveness.
·Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with individual sales consultants.
·Meet with key clients, assisting sales consultants in maintaining relationships, negotiating, and closing deals.
·Coordinate between the sales department and other sales-related functions, including marketing. 8. Analyse and control departmental expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
·Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential, future pipeline sales, and identify areas for client base expansion.
·Determine and track key business drivers (KPIs) to ensure consistent team and company growth. 11. Monitor emerging technology to aid the team and company in exceeding sales targets, ensuring ROI is tracked.
·Manage the Sales Team daily, tracking performance against targets, maintaining standards, and generating new business.
 
Qualifications
·Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the exhibition industry.
·A commercial mindset with the ability to read and analyse data to identify problems and opportunities for growth.
·Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and motivate a team.
·Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
·Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
·Strong analytical and organisational skills.
