Our client is a company providing a range of oil testing and engine trend monitoring to the aviation industry in the UK and globally.
An opening for a Driver / Facilities Assistant has become available at their offices in Hampshire. Working in the Facilities Management department, you will be required to carry passengers (as a Chauffeur if required), and goods or fluids, and other samples for laboratory testing, making other collections/deliveries, and doing general errands.
Duties:
Split approximately 45% driving, 55% other duties.
Cleaning and driving company vehicles.
Assembling and packing sample kits ready for dispatch.
Arranging couriers to collect sample kits for delivery.
Assisting with moving deliveries/dispatch items to the correct location.
Assisting with disposal of oil samples, waste and general housekeeping.
Ad hoc items of general basic maintenance.
Candidate:
Hold a full clean driving licence (category B) and substantial driving experience.
Well presented.
Have a flexible attitude and methodical approach to all matters.
Have a reasonable standard of written and spoken English and be able to work and communicate effectively at all levels.
PC literate and familiar with Microsoft Office suite of programs.
Further driving categories of BE, C1 and C1E, would be an advantage as would experience of driving in/around London.
Required to work additional overtime hours on the Driver’s rota (currently one week in three), covering bank/public holidays, weekends, and evening hours.
