Web Developer - Digital Marketing Agency - Liverpool - c£30,000
Our client is a growing Digital Marketing Agency in the heart of Liverpool, specialising in SEO with an interest in the Legal sector. They have one of the largest networks in the UK and work with some industry leading organisations.
They are looking for a Web Developer to join their team, you will have experience working with WordPress, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS. Alongside the Web Development, you will also have experience with UX and CRO, as these will be big responsibilities in your role.
You will be working closely with the Head of SEO and providing support to the wider SEO team.
You will be joining a bespoke, close-knit, collaborative team that work with some of the UK’s biggest organisations and media companies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Fixing any technical issues that arise across their network of websites
* Conducting changes and improvements to themes and website designs in order to improve conversion rates
* Conducting user experience tests to identify issues and then set about fixing them
* Identifying issues with website load speed and fixing them
* Designing and creating new websites and themes
* Analysing live pages and conducting optimisation tasks
KEY SKILLS
* Experience using WordPress
* Great knowledge of HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
* Experience in designing quality websites with good performance and conversion metrics
* Experience in improving website load speeds
* Ability to make wireframes
* Has experience with Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)
* Has experience conducting User Experience (UX) tests and fixes
* Knowledge and understanding of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
