A 1D Thermal System Simulation Engineer opportunity has become available to join one of the world’s leading technology companies for development, simulation and testing in the automotive industry.
You will join a highly dynamic team working on new technologies in the fields of electrification and powertrain performance in the automotive industry. Your role will be focused on 1D & Software in loop modeling for cell/ battery and powertrain simulation activities.
The role is therefore particularly suited to people who will enjoy the opportunity to gain experience in new areas and who can rapidly self-start, combining creative and analytical problem-solving skills.
To apply for this 1D Thermal System Simulation Engineer role, your skills, expertise and experience should include:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering area (Mechanical, Automotive, Electric/Electronics) 
* Understanding of automotive electrification performance and fundamentals for future and emerging powertrain technologies
* Experience in battery and/or powertrain modelling and simulation, model correlation & validation against test data
* Experience in GT-Suite 1D Simulations
* Experience in MATLAB / Simulink
* Excellent analytical skills with ability to make clear technical recommendations across multifunctional disciplines
