Description
As a Contaminants - Team Lead in High Wycombe you will:
* Lead team development and organisation to enhance the chemistry offering in the contaminants lab
* Support and oversee method development and validation for a number of techniques, inclusive of GC-MS and LC-MS (qualitative and quantitative)
* Ensure compliance to necessary regulations including ISO17025 throughout
* Interact with clients when necessary to provide updates and technical insights, and reporting of data
Profile
To be successful you will have:
* Formal qualification in Analytical Chemistry / Chemistry - PhD desired but not essential
* Sound experience of utilising GC-MS inclusive of developing and validating methods
* Competent and proven ability to extract and quantify trace contaminants from complex matrices
* Leadership experience, either direct management or mentorship
* Direct experience working under an accredited QMS (ISO17025, GMP, GLP as examples
