This newly created Senior IT Operations Specialist vacancy, is a fantastic opportunity to work for a growing Cambridge based business, as their first dedicated IT employee.
Working closely with their IT Support company, you’ll have responsibility for:
* Overseeing the day-to-day IT operations
* Optimising IT infrastructure
* Maintain relationships with IT vendors and service providers
* Ensure SLA are met
* Evaluate innovative technologies and solutions to enhance IT capabilities
* Develop, implement and refine IT processes to improve operational efficiency
* Establish and implement policies, procedures and standards in an ISO9001 environment
* Assess current processes and identify areas for improvement and automation
* Support with the implementation of robust security measures
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
We’re looking for someone who has an in-depth working knowledge of IT infrastructure, security and compliance practices, along with extensive experience in Microsoft 365 (including SharePoint and Viva), Windows Server and Microsoft Azure. Experience with project methodologies, cyber security and data protection is important.

This isn’t a helpdesk/support role, these responsibilities would remain with the IT support company, so we’re looking to hear from individuals who like the operational side of an IT role but equally have the relevant IT skills, knowledge and expertise, to utilize when needed internally.

Monday-Friday - 37.5 hours per week
