Totum Partners is pleased to partner with a prestigious law firm that is currently seeking a Credit Controller to join their Finance Team. In this standalone Credit Controller role, you will work closely with the Finance Director to define the function and implement processes across the firm.
The ideal Credit Controller will be responsible for the following:
* Contact debtors daily when payment is overdue
* Develop and maintain working relationships with clients
* Responsibility for firmwide outstanding accounts
* Regular meetings with Partners to ensure outstanding debts are minimised
* Ensure that the bad debt provision is within firm requirements
* Maintain accurate debtor records as required
* Generate monthly statements for clients
* Reconciling accounts to ensure the accuracy of records
* Additional credit control projects as required
The ideal Credit Controller will have:
* Experience working in a Legal or Professional Services Firm
* Good communicator with high levels of interpersonal skills
* A good telephone manner when talking to clients, both internally and externally
* Organised and accurate with good attention to detail
