We are seeking a creative and self-motivated Social Media Specialist to manage and grow our presence on LinkedIn and Instagram. This is a part-time, remote position with flexible hours, perfect for someone who is passionate about social media and enjoys working independently.
Key Responsibilities: Social Media Specialist
Content Creation & Curation
Develop and create engaging content tailored for LinkedIn and Instagram, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
Curate relevant content from industry sources to share on our platforms.
Account Management
Schedule and publish content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Website
Monitor accounts daily for engagement, responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
Manage and grow followers, likes, shares, and other forms of engagement.
Strategy Development
Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
Analyse trends on LinkedIn and Instagram to inform content and strategy.
Analytics & Reporting:
Track and analyse social media performance using analytics tools.
Offer recommendations for improvement.
Community Engagement
Actively engage with followers, industry influencers, and potential customers.
Participate in relevant online communities and groups.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing LinkedIn and Instagram accounts
- Strong understanding of social media best practices, trends, and analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.
- Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing is a plus.
