Private Client Manager / Private Client Senior Manager
With a growing office in Newcastle this leading accounting firm in the region are seeking a tax specialist in private client tax to join their Newcastle office and support the growth of their compliance and advisory services.
* Working with local SME and OMB’s clients in and around Newcastle you will be tasked with building relationships with these individuals.
* Reviewing and approving personal tax returns ensuring deadlines are reached timely and all queries are responded to
* Negotiating and raising fees and being responsible for WIP management on your portfolio of clients as well as those of the team
* Pro actively talking to clients about tax opportunities which may be relevant to them, and working with the tax partners, and wider tax team to deliver on such work.
* Provision of IHT and Trust planning for clients amongst other tax advisory
Experience we are looking for:
* Extensive experience of working with a portfolio of clients managing relationships and dealing with complex queries
* CTA or ATT (or equivalent) qualification, STEP desirable but not essential
* Demonstrate broad and strong technical tax knowledge and experience.
* Broad experience of managing the financials on clients, delivering on budgets and negotiating fees with clients.
* Experience of identifying opportunities for business development on tax clients (and ideally across other service lines).
* Experience providing IHT and trust advice
