Job Description:
A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager on behalf of our client, a leading manufacturing supplier based in Harlow.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Lead, motivate, and support the warehouse team
* Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations
* Support with 3PL Contract Management
* Facilities management
* Implementing operational policies and procedures
* Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment
* Ensuring the safety of staff
* Motivating and disciplining staff
* Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities
Requirements:
* 3+ years of warehouse management experience
* Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures
* Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
* Valid drivers’ licence
* Proficient computer skills
* Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
* Outstanding leadership, organisational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
* Strong people skills
* Available to work extended hour
