Job Description:
Senior Business Analyst * Contract Duration: Until 31/03/2025
* Location: Hybrid (1-2 days a week in Sheffield or London)
* Daily rate: £450-£500 inside IR35 (umbrella)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our client’s team, working on a key function within a prestigious UK postal service provider. This role involves engaging with client’s Service Delivery team on one of their HR projects. The ideal candidate will lead complex workshops, develop system solutions, and maintain the integrity of project requirements throughout the lifecycle.
Day-to-day of the role: * Facilitate complex and large multi-functional business workshops to elicit, challenge, and convert requirements into process/system solutions.
* Document requirements clearly and concisely for handover to Project delivery teams, including Solution Architects and Test Leads.
* Maintain requirements acceptance criteria, integrity, and traceability throughout the project or product lifecycle.
* Lead design sessions with senior stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment with technology strategy and architecture.
* Engage in qualification and quantification of business benefits relating to requirements for change and improved business processes.
* Support risk and issue management, ensuring the quality and timeliness of analysis, requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * Strong technical skills and experience working as a Business Analyst in large complex organisations.
* Experience within both Waterfall & Agile project environments.
* Proactive approach to work with strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, working closely with business, operational, and IT teams.
* Demonstrable experience in leading workshops and design sessions with senior stakeholders.
Desirable: * Previous experience in the logistics sector.
* Previous consultancy work experience.
