Job Description:
Air Testing Technician
Our client is a prominent consultancy firm that provides a comprehensive range of multi-disciplinary services in the areas of environmental, energy, and performance testing. Their expertise lies in assisting clients in meeting the stringent standards mandated by British regulations for a wide variety of projects, catering to both residential and commercial developers. This role offers a diverse range of exciting projects that entail visiting different sites and collaborating with various stakeholders, creating a vibrant and dynamic work environment.
Requirements:
* Certification at ATTMA Level 1 or Level 2.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
* Possession of a valid UK driving license.
* Proficiency in essential modelling and IT software packages.
* Thorough understanding of building regulations and construction industry guidelines.
* Willingness to travel to different test sites.
Responsibilities:
* Analyse test results with precision and promptly address any anomalies or issues that may arise.
* Conduct tests in accordance with established British standards such as CIBSE TM23:2000, BS EN13829:2001, and ATTMA TSL1 & TSL2.
* Establish effective communication with site agents and personnel to ensure seamless testing procedures.
* Generate concise and accurate ATTMA short reports using electronic systems.
* Identify and address any testing defects promptly and effectively.
* Safely transport equipment to and from test sites, utilizing both vehicles and manual handling as necessary.
* Tailor the testing approach based on project-specific factors.
