LTF Recruitment is seeking a Pastoral Assistant for a welcoming secondary school in Hammersmith, London.

Job Role:
Support the pastoral manager in creating a positive learning environment for students, fostering positive relationships, and working to improve behaviours and attendance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the pastoral lead to enhance student behaviour and attendance.
* Provide targeted support to students facing social, emotional, or mental health (SEMH) challenges within the classroom.
* Conduct one-on-one sessions with students to address specific pastoral concerns.
* Respond to on-call support as part of the school’s pastoral team.
* Regularly review and adjust educational plans based on ongoing assessments and progress.
* Complete risk assessments to ensure a safe and supportive environment for students.
* Build positive relationships with students to encourage positive behaviours.
Person Specification:
* Experience in a school pastoral role or similar position.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Confidence in supporting students effectively.
* Passion for education and helping students reach their full potential.
