TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER - TIMBER ENGINEERING
Job Description
Our client has been a leader in the TIMBER FRAME SECTOR for over a century and prides themselves in being pioneers of Timber Frame Construction in the UK. As a company they provide an in house technical team ensuring all design, production, delivery and erection services are client focussed and sustainable.
Due to internal promotion, they are seeking a TECHNICAL SALESMANAGER to develop their sales of TIMBER ENGINEERED PRODUCTS in Central England.
Reporting to: MD
As TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER your role will be to build and maintain relationships with Regional / National Housebuilders, Construction Companies and Developers. offering product, sales, and technical support and to work and also to source new business
Key Responsibilities as TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER
* Research the market to find possible new business opportunities
* Work closely with the estimating team in submitting quotations
* Quoting and costing customer requirements
* Understanding customer needs and requirements, research accounts, identify key players
* Maintain & expand your data base
* Prepare and deliver quotations to the project and design teams
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
* Face to face selling and negotiation skills
* Strong knowledge & experience in the Timber Engineering Sector
* Excellent presenting skills
* On site experience with Timber Frame
* Self-motivated with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision
* Effective communication skills
* Customer focused with sound commercial skills.
* Good IT skills & PC literate and experience with Microsoft Outlook
Location/Area CENTRAL ENGLAND
