On behalf of Deutsche Bank, AMS are now looking for a Risk Framework Design Manager- Systematic Product Review to work in their New Business Office team based in London on a PAYE basis. It is an initial 4-month contract with a hybrid work model.
The role will lead the redesign of certain New Product Approval lifecycle controls within the Strategic Control Execution Team whose core mandate is the risk identification, analysis, management, approval, and lifecycle management relating to Approved Product Perimeter.
Key responsibilities:
* Leading and managing the comprehensive redesign of New Product Approval lifecycle controls, ensuring they are robust, effective, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
* Supporting the Global Head of the Strategic Control Execution Team in the timely and effective closure of audit findings, contributing to the overall enhancement of control frameworks.
* Leading engagement with essential business stakeholders and control functions to secure buy-in and facilitate the smooth adoption of the redesigned controls.
* Collaborating closely with the Project Manager and Business Analyst responsible for overseeing the implementation of the redesigned controls, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational efficiency
Skills and Qualifications:
* Significant experience in a similar role within Financial Services and extensive experience in designing/auditing New Product Approval lifecycle controls.
* Knowledge of best practices across the industry in relation to New Product Approval lifecycle controls.
* Ability to communicate concisely to senior stakeholders, constructively discuss concepts, take on feedback and adapt accordingly.
* Extensive experience dealing with Auditors and Regulators and an ability to define action plans to address audit findings, coordinate execution and produce high quality closure memos.
* Previous experience working with senior stakeholders within a high-pressure dynamic environment.
* Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical abilities to assess risks and controls, coupled with a problem-solving mindset to address and mitigate identified issues.
* A proven track record of developing and communicating a sound strategy that addresses both short term commitments and longer-term strategic objectives.
* Strong oral and written skills - should be able to distil topics into understandable summaries with clear conclusions and explanations of rationale.
* The individual will play a supporting role in a period of significant change for this function and therefore past experience with change projects is desirable.
