Year 6 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Hampstead, Camden
September 2024
At Tradewind we are looking for a Year 6 Teaching Assistant to support a boy 121. The boy has behavioural issues and needs extra support in and out of the classroom. The pupil has been held back a year due to not being ready for Year 7 just yet! The role is starting from September 2024 on a full time basis.
The two-form entry school is located in the heart of Hampstead. The school prides itself on promoting high academic achievement for all. The school has a warm and welcoming feel to it, that spreads a supportive nature all around.
The role:
* Supporting a Year 6 boy 121 who has behavioural issues
* Supporting within the classroom and outside
* Reporting to the class teacher and SENCO
* Setting out plans and expectations of the day and week
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
* Starting in September 2024 - Full Time Position
The ideal candidate:
* Strong SEN support background (ASD, ADHD or behavioural issues)
* Genuine passion for education
* Dedication and commitment for the role ahead
