Depot Assistant

Our client, a rapidly growing organisation trading for over 40 years, is seeking a Depot Assistant to join their team at the Felixstowe location. With their focus on excellent customer service and a commitment to standing out in the market, this is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter who is motivated and possesses excellent communication skills.
What you’ll do:
* Help manage the day-to-day operations of a busy depot
* Prepare vehicles for hire and perform inspections for damage
* Coordinate with customers for servicing and MOTs
* Coordinate with suppliers for parts orders
* Maintain a tidy and accessible yard
* Adhere to health and safety procedures and ensure VOSA compliance
What we’re looking for:
* HGV knowledge is ideal but not essential; multitasking ability is key
* Ability to transition between an office environment and working in the yard
* Drive to learn and an interest in repairing HGV vehicles
