We are working with an established Courier company based near Heathrow who are looking for a Control Agent. Working Sunday to Thursday hours either 9am-6pm or 10am-7pm.
They will consider Trainee who are looking for a career within courier, any experience in courier /freight is advantage.
The role is dealing with Operational activities ensuring compliance with all agreed company policies. Due to nature of cargo which is pharmaceutical related this role is a time-critical, fast paced environment where you are working to strict deadlines.
The role involves:
* Managing daily email volumes inbox for the group
* Monitor all live network activities ensuring adherence to agreed rate structures and pricing policies.
* Develop and implement customer focused operational policies and procedures.
* Monitor accuracy of reporting and database information.
* Co-ordinate customer service projects and initiatives.
* Updating & Tracking Shipments
* Keeping customers updated.
* Updating database.
Experience:
* Good numeric ability
* Excellent time management skills
* Good IT skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Good Communication skills
* Any Courier / freight experience advantage.
* Self-motivated / Team Player
* Good attention to detail.
