FABRICATOR WELDER / EXETER

Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00am - 17:15pm & Friday 08:00am - 13:00pm
Salary: Starting at £14.36 per hour, dependent on experience
Hawk 3 Talent Solutions, operating as an employment business, are currently recruiting a Fabricator Welder based in Exeter on a permanent contract.
The successful candidate will carry out workshop activities as tasked by the project, primarily in the fabrication and welding of the company and customer products.
Main duties:
Following detailed work instructions and technical drawings relating to the welding and fabrication of component parts and large assemblies including but not limited to use of MIG / TIG, Plasma Profiler, Guillotine and Press Brake
To ensure the scope and timing of assigned tasks are understood, completed as per requirements and in accordance with relevant working procedures
To ensure all relevant documentation is completed correctly and in a timely manner
Maintain all tools and equipment ina  clean and usable state and return tool to appropriate storage areas when not being used, reporting any defects or damage to Fabrication Manager
To work in accordance with current quality procedures and advise any errors or variances to appropriate Manager
Assist in the maintenance of clean, tidy and safe working areas
Ensure correct PPE is worn while carrying out duties
Work in other departments and locations as and when required
Be able to work offsite, according to the requirements of the business and the delivery of its services
About you:
Excellent internal and external communication Problem solving skills
Team player
Self-motivated
Experience in a fabrication workshop
Codification or equivalent qualification in welding (MIGTIG)
NVQ Level 3 or over 2 years equivalent experience and able to pass an internal weld test
