Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Crane Supervisor to oversee and coordinate lifting operations on our marine civil engineering site. The successful candidate will ensure all crane activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage all crane operations on-site.
* Ensure all lifting equipment and cranes are operated safely and efficiently.
* Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on cranes and lifting gear.
* Coordinate with site managers, engineers, and other personnel to plan and execute lifting tasks.
* Implement and enforce health and safety protocols related to crane operations.
* Provide training and guidance to crane operators and rigging personnel.
* Maintain accurate records of lifting operations, inspections, and incidents.
* Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to crane operations.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Crane Supervisor in a marine or civil engineering environment.
* Valid Crane Supervisor certification (e.g., CPCS, NPORS).
* Comprehensive knowledge of lifting operations, crane safety, and relevant regulations.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
* Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
