Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and meticulous Caravan Valeter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the thorough cleaning and detailing of caravans, both inside and out, ensuring they are presented to the highest possible standards for our customers. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Exterior Cleaning: Wash, polish, and wax the exterior of caravans, including the bodywork, windows, and wheels. Ensure all surfaces are free of dirt, grime, and watermarks.
Interior Detailing: Thoroughly clean and detail the interior of caravans, including vacuuming carpets, cleaning upholstery, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring all areas are spotless.
Sanitization: Disinfect high-touch areas such as handles, switches, and controls to ensure a hygienic environment.
Maintenance of Valeting Equipment: Properly use and maintain valeting equipment and cleaning products, ensuring they are in good working order and safely stored.
Inspection and Quality Control: Conduct detailed inspections before and after cleaning to ensure all work meets company standards. Address any areas that do not meet these standards.
Reporting: Report any damages, defects, or maintenance needs identified during the valeting process to the relevant department.
Waste Management: Dispose of waste materials appropriately and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Customer Interaction: Occasionally interact with customers, providing them with information about the valeting process and ensuring their needs are met.
Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the proper handling of chemicals and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: Previous experience in valeting, car detailing, or a similar role is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, lifting, and working in various weather conditions.
Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently to meet deadlines.
Communication Skills: Good communication skills, with the ability to work well within a team and interact professionally with customers.
Driving License: A valid driving license may be required, especially if the role involves moving caravans within the site.
