Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Signage Fitter for one their clients based in Colchester on a permanent basis.
Main purpose of the role will be attending sites across the UK with a small team fitting cladding or signage for businesses.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Ensuring the signs meets clients’ specifications in terms of spelling, font, size and layout.
* Loading and transporting signs, tools and materials to the location safely.
* Preparing the site for installation by removing old signage
* Mounting and installing the signs in accordance with all safety protocols.
Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications:
* Must be fully conversant with all aspects of signage installing including LED Illumination.
* Able to use your own initiative on site and works as part of a team.
* Good communication skills with work partner, clients and in site meetings.
* You must be willing to travel throughout the UK including Ireland and stay away on a regular basis.
* Ability to work at heights
* CSCS, PASMA, IPAF certificates required.
* Flexibility regarding early starts/late finishes.
* Capable of reading CAD drawings
* Clean full driving licence
* Aware of H&S practises on building site & as an individual
Working hours are Monday to Friday 40 hour a week.
In return our client offers a competitive salary of up to £31,000 with overtime being paid at time and a half.
