Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Planner to join a successful team within a market leading specialist manufacturer. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities, as well as managing the stores.

Description
Planning:
* Produce a maintenance plan to ensure all work can be completed efficiently, with the correct resources available.
* Ensure the system accurately forecasts and generates works orders with realistic timescales.
* Continuously develop the Maintenance plan and strategy, looking for efficiency and reliability improvements.
* Monitor and communicate KPIs.
* Assist the Reliability Technician with machine history to identify key areas for further investigation.
* Organise third party vendors to assist when required.
* Prioritise safety in all tasks and adhere to all regulations and safety procedures.
Engineering Stores:
* Manage the day to day stock ensuring all goods are stored correctly.
* Manage the criticality of parts and ensuring minimum and maximum stock levels align with the assessment.
* Ensure pre-kitting is carried out for all major planned maintenance tasks, and that all parts required are available.
* Manage the stock take process and routinely check for stock discrepancies.
* Actively look to reduce annual spare part costs, looking for alternative suppliers and price breaks.
Monday - Friday - 37.5 Hours
Profile
A successful Maintenance/Engineering Planner should have:
* Proven track record of Manufacturing/Maintenance planning
* Experience of managing stock levels and stores management
* Exposure to a maintenance environment or equivalent ideally in the chemical sector, pharmaceutical, biochemical or equivalent.
* Understanding of day to day business activities and operations
* Computer literacy and high proficiency in major IT tools including Maintenance Management systems (e.g. SAP, MS Office).
* Excellent communication and team working skills.
* Completer / Finisher who regularly delivers results.
* Highly organised and effective
* Ability to deal with ambiguity and priority setting
* A high focus on data and metrics
