Head Receptionist Job Type: Full-time (Monday - Friday)

Reed in Colchester are delighted to be supporting our client seeking a professional and welcoming Head Receptionist to join the team at their Colchester Head Office. This role is the face of the firm, providing a warm greeting to clients and visitors, and handling a variety of administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in a receptionist role, with legal office experience being a significant advantage.
Day-to-day of the role: * Answering the telephone and managing incoming calls with a professional and courteous manner.
* Greeting clients and visitors at the reception desk, ensuring a positive first impression of the firm.
* Performing various administrative tasks, with full training provided as necessary.
* Managing the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and welcoming at all times.
* Occasionally covering reception independently, with support from other administrative staff when needed.
* Collaborating with the Assistant Receptionist and stepping in during their absence to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications: * Proven experience as a receptionist, with legal office experience being highly desirable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
* A friendly and professional demeanour.
