Job Description:
Our client is looking for an Accountant to join the company and head up the UK side of the business in a sole accounting role, working on a fully remote basis.
Aside from the day-to-day accounting and reporting duties, an integral part of the job is to implement financial controls and internal processes to ensure that the financial processes align between both the UK and Romanian business.
The majority of the transactional accounting duties are covered by the Romanian business, but the rest of duties fall in line with the Company Accountant, these include;
* Budgeting and cost management.
* Providing variance analysis and forecasting.
* Managing cashflow.
* Monthly and yearly reporting, working directly with the MD.
* Conducting periodic audits and ensuring all compliance is adhered to.
* Inventory and stock control.
* Liaising with the Supply Chain Manager in regard to materials forecasting.
* Managing the monthly payroll for the UK staff.
There are no direct reports within this role and the successful candidate does not need to be qualified.
Key skills for this role require;
* High capability in implementing financial systems and controls.
* To be able to demonstrate experience in implementing internal processes and controls.
* Extremely systems savvy, and excellent general IT skills.
* Experience in working or dealing with oversees companies.
