This opportunity requires an experienced Accountant who can set up processes from scratch and get involved with all the detail to the business. Our client is an SME, started in the early 2000’s and each product is designed and made by the founder who is a Global leading expert within skincare combining high-tech ingredients.
The business is at an exciting stage where they need visibility on costs, forecasting processes. Transactional processes set up and much more. This is a fantastic opportunity to set up all of the finance function for a company that is around £9mil Turnover that has aspiration to double in turnover each year.
Already working with the likes of Selfridges, this is a really unique role as the Financial Controller. You will work closely with the CEO and founder and crucial to have the attitude of uncertainty, working bottom up, right now it’s not an organised business but it will… attitude.

What is the role as the Financial controller (stand alone - newly created!)
There is no JD attitude….
Working with the current Bookkeeper based Internationally with view to bring all finance to you;
* Setting up AP and AR processes
* Budgeting and Forecasting process
* Setting up the new P&L
* Month end processes
* Ability to break down every cost to get a plan ahead for growth with the founder
* Business parter with Marketing and Store staff to understand departments
* Visit stores to gain strong relationships
About you..
* Experienced Technical Accountant with a proven background of setting up processes from scratch - essential
* Advanced Excel
* Excellent communicator with a patient attitude towards the founder / owner
* Able to present clear insight
* Enjoy building relationships
* A natural at digging into data
