Job Description:
The school are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our students in their educational journey, fostering their development, and helping them overcome challenges. They are looking for someone who is passionate about working with students with special educational needs, creative in their approach, and possesses a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide one-on-one and group support to students with MLD, SLD, ASC, and SLCN.
· Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior support plans (BSPs).
· Create and adapt resources to meet the diverse needs of our students.
· Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
· Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to deliver effective support.
· Promote social and emotional development among students.
· Monitor and track student progress, reporting observations to the teaching team.
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Relevant experience working with students with special educational needs is highly desirable.
· A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEN.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Creativity in adapting teaching and support strategies to individual student needs.
· Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
· Willingness to undergo necessary training and development.
· Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
