Job Description:
Job title: HNW Trading Underwriter
Salary: £55,000
Location: Hybrid - 2-3 days per week, with the remaining days being remote.
PURPOSE OF ROLE
A big name in the HNW/PC space is seeking a Trading Underwriter to join their well-established, specialist underwriting team. This role offers development opportunities and exposure to specialist products across the HNW space.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Underwriting Art and Private Client products
* Working towards set targets including profitability, GWP, conversion, productivity, referral rate reduction, and turnaround times
* Developing sales skills and appreciation of sales and underwriting strategy
* Negotiating with internal and external parties, including key broker partners
* Challenging non-standard underwriting decisions and identifying process improvements
EXPERIENCE
* Logical and analytical thinker
* Underwriting experience within HNW/Private Clients
* Natural flair for building relationships with brokers
* Collaborative team player
* Ambitious and driven
