SEN Teaching Assistant - Enfield
Engage Education is currently working with a therapeutic SEMH School based in Enfield, the school is looking to take on up to 4 SEN Teaching Assistants.

A well-established organisation that provides therapeutic education to children and young people who have complex Social, Emotional and Mental Health and Autism / ASC. Many of their pupils come from disadvantaged backgrounds and have anxiety and trauma.
About the role:
The needs of the pupils they cater for range from:
* Social, Emotional and Mental Health

* Autism - ASC - ASD

* MLD

* Sensory learning

The ideal applicant will:
* Experience working with students from a challenging background is a must.

* Those who have experience professionally or personally worked with those on the Autistic spectrum should apply

* The application should have a strong understanding of the challenges facing those with Social, Emotional Mental Health issues.

* Those with direct experience supporting young people with Mental Health issues

* You may have a background in a similar school, residential setting or with social work or youth work

* Have a positive mindset, flexible approach and a can-do attitude

* Candidates with Team Teach or MAPA trainer are highly encouraged to apply
