About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Project Manager to join our client’s team on a hybrid basis, working three days a week in Central London. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at managing multiple stakeholders, and has a strong background in B2B marketing, particularly in the payments sector.
In this role, you’ll be at the helm of coordinating a variety of marketing projects and workstreams, ensuring they align with strategic objectives, meet deadlines, and are communicated effectively to senior stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Coordination:
* Lead and manage multiple marketing projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with overall business goals.
* Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets using tools like Asana, Excel, and Gantt charts.
2. Stakeholder Management:
* Act as the central point of contact for team members across various geographies and seniority levels, ensuring clear communication and resolution of project-related issues.
* Provide regular project updates and reports to senior stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
3. Marketing and Budgeting Expertise:
* Apply your understanding of marketing terminology and concepts to enhance project planning and execution.
* Assist in managing project budgets, monitoring expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of marketing initiatives.
* Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to gather requirements, share updates, and ensure project milestones are met.
5. Proficiency with Project Management Tools:
* Leverage project management tools such as Asana and Excel to track progress, manage tasks, and facilitate team collaboration.
* Develop Gantt charts and other documentation to visualize project timelines and dependencies.
Key Requirements:
* Experience: Minimum 5 years in marketing project management, particularly in a B2B setting.
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
* Skills: Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with marketing terminology, basic budgeting, and proficiency with tools like Asana, Excel, and Gantt charts.
* Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with experience in engaging senior stakeholders.
* Global Perspective: Comfortable working with international teams across different cultures and time zones.
