Job Description:
Halliday Marx have partnered with a truly outstanding media business to recruit a Senior Management Accountant on a permanent basis.
This role has hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home)
Responsibilities
* Producing a full set of Management Accounts - {Monthly P&L + Balance Sheet} for several entities
* Actual vs Budget Variance Analysis
* Budgeting + Forecasting for 1 entity
* Liaising with the Auditors
* Preparation of Journals, prepayments and Accruals
* Producing the Statutory Accounts
* Manage the audit process
* Reconciliation of Payroll to the general ledger
* VAT Submissions
* Tax accounting duties
Requirements
* Part Qualified in either (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) - Not purely from exemptions
* P&L + Balance sheet experience is an absolute must
* Able to handle strict month ends deadlines
* Very good double entry bookkeeping skills
* Strong Excel skills {Vlookup’s & Pivot Tables as a minimum}
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
