Halliday Marx have partnered with a truly outstanding media business to recruit a Management Accountant on a permanent basis. This role is suited to someone with a good understanding of P&L’s and Balance Sheets who is looking for their first Management Accounting role.
This role has hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home)
Responsibilities
*Producing a full set of Management Accounts - {Monthly P&L + Balance Sheet} for several entities
*Actual vs Budget Variance Analysis
*Budgeting + Forecasting for 1 entity
*Liaising with the Auditors
*Preparation of Journals, prepayments and Accruals
*Producing the Statutory Accounts
*Manage the audit process
*Reconciliation of Payroll to the general ledger
*VAT Submissions
*Tax accounting duties
Requirements
*P&L + Balance sheet experience is an absolute must
*2 years of experience in accounting
*Actively studying for a professional qualification
*Very good double entry bookkeeping skills
*Strong Excel skills {Vlookup’s & Pivot Tables as a minimum}
*Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
