Job Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Skilled Tractor Driver to join a dynamic team on a reputable dairy farm in Mid Wales. This role involves a variety of tasks crucial to the dairy operation, with a focus on fieldwork and machinery maintenance. If you have a strong work ethic, a passion for agriculture, and experience with John Deere and GPS guidance systems, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform umbilical cord work and all field cultivations.
* Participate in grass and maize silage operations.
* Provide weekend cover for feeding the dairy herd once per month.
* Manage the silage clamp to ensure optimal conditions.
* Carry out basic maintenance of farm machinery.
* Work collaboratively as part of a team of three drivers.
Requirements:
* A clean driving license.
* Experience with John Deere tractors and GPS guidance systems.
* A conscientious attitude towards maintaining farm standards and equipment.
* Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to supporting colleagues.
* Right to work in the UK.
