Senior BREEAM Assessor

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior BREEAM Assessor to join a multidisciplined consultancy with offices and services being provided across the UK. The successful candidate will join the London sustainability team and lead on numerous BREEAM projects.
Role responsibilities for a Senior BREEAM Assessor include:
* Carrying out BREEAM Assessments from project inception to completion, as well as providing consultancy services and technical support.
* Work alongside the design team and clients to meet key sustainability objectives as well as taking the lead on a range of BREEAM projects.
* Providing advice to clients and design team to ensure cost-effective ways of achieving BREEAM targets.
* Advise clients on how to make sure they meet BREEAM scores and compliance requirements.
* Mentor the junior BREEAM Assessors within the team to ensure their potential is reached
Requirements for a Senior BREEAM Assessor include:
* Relevant MSc within a sustainability or environmental science field.
* BREEAM Assessor accreditation such as BREEAM New Construction with relevant experience carrying out BREEAM Assessments
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience within a relevant role within the construction industry
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Experience across a range of sectors such as residential and commercial would be beneficial
