Altum is proud to partner with a small accountancy firm that provides finance consultancy services to the charity sector in its search for a Finance & Systems Officer. This interesting and varied role will offer the opportunity to work with a range of charities on a number of important projects and will offer fully remote working and a salary of circa £31,000 per annum. This is an initial six-month contract with the opportunity to go permanent thereafter, and can be offered on either a part-time or full-time basis.

The Finance & Systems Officer will be responsible for:
* Working with a range of clients at any given time, handling their outsourced finance responsibilities
* Processing invoices and payroll and posting journals
* Making payments on behalf of clients
* Overseeing finance mailboxes and responding to queries
* Working with a range of systems, including but not limited to Quickbooks, Netsuite and Xero
* Setting up new users on systems
* Building new charts of accounts
* Performing bank and balance sheet reconciliations
The ideal Finance & Systems Officer will:
* Be a proactive individual, comfortable in working with ambiguity
* Have strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a range of client needs, prioritising accordingly
* Have strong transactional finance skills and be systems-savvy
* Enjoy solving problems
