Job Title: Occupational Therapist / Physiotherapist
Grade: Band 6
Department: Jean Hayes Reablement Unit
Location: Leigh Infirmary, The Avenue, Leigh, WN7 1HS
Trust: Wrighton, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Pay rate: £19.38

Main duties of the job
*Assessment of patients on reablement unit including mobility, functional assessments and cognitive assessments.
*Assessing for and ordering of appropriate equipment.
*Delegation of appropriate work to Therapy Practitioners.
*Multidisciplinary working with physiotherapy and nursing staff.
*Discharge planning including liaising with relatives and external agencies.
*Completing timely referrals to appropriate teams to facilitate discharges.
To be successful in applying for this role you will need:
*Current relevant professional registration (HCPC Registration)
*Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience (Occupational Therapy Degree/Physiotherapy Degree)
*Enhanced DBS
*Experience of working within the NHS
In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of
*Relevant Qualifications
*Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
