Job Description:
A leading Tech company is looking for a External Communications Manager to work on partnering with their customers
Below are the job specs for your reference:
Position: External Communications Manager
Location: London, England
Mode of working: Hybrid (3 days in office)
Duration: 13 months Contract
Responsibilities:
* Create strategic communications plans around content safety, disinformation, and election integrity.
* Manage media coverage of inflection points specific to content regulation such as the EU Digital Services Act (DSA), including the filing of transparency reports, audit processes, enforcement procedures, etc.
* Kids and Family Safety - work with global affairs / public policy (GAPP) and Trust and Safety to deliver proactive communications campaigns related to the online safety of teens and kids.
* Should hold experience in Crisis Communication, writing warnings, content responsibility efforts, and prepare regional leadership for media interviews, conferences and other public engagement.
Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Total years experience in what industry, discipline or
* 8+ years working in communications roles. Experience in electoral politics or government a plus.
* Skills or processes candidates must have to be considered for the role: Strong written and verbal communications skills in English.
Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:
* Knowledge of the EU Digital Service Act
* Experience in highly regulated industries.
* Professional speechwriting experience.
* Facility with modern social media platforms including TikTok and YouTube; previous experience working with TikTok or YouTube creators.
