Job Description:
Our Client is a leading supplier of processing and packaging equipment solutions for the food and pet food industries.
They are looking to recruit an Internal Service Manager to join their team.
The ideal person will have either technical or electrical engineering experience.
Daily main responsibilities -
* • Managing the customer experience to the highest level and improving customer relationships at every opportunity.
* • To produce Risk Assessment Method Statements (RAMS) for customers when requested
* • To be in complete control of region with the Field Based manager.
• To work with the Field Service manager to schedule engineers in an efficient manner.
* • Calls or potential problems will be escalated from the Service Coordinator to the Internal Service manager to resolve
* • Demonstrating an understanding of the equipment that the company sells by undertaking technical support calls from the customer and members of the service team.
* • To liaise with the internal sales manager and sales team to ensure up and coming jobs are fully understood, planned and scheduled accordingly.
* • To work with the Field Service Manager to schedule engineers in an efficient manner.
* • To ensure all issues are raised to the correct level within the business in a timely manner with appropriate escalation as necessary.
* • To liaise with the engineering department to fully understand engineered solution requirements for customers, input as necessary and prepare the customer and team for installation
* • To understand jobs (machines etc.) and check equipment before delivery to site (including liaising with the workshop to ensure satisfactory functionality and correct parts are sent.
* • To work with the Field service manager to ensure all aspects of installs and trials (external) are carried out inline and to the of all stake holders
* • To ensure engineers service reports and install reports are fully completed and delivered to the office in a timely manner.
* • To review service and install reports and take appropriate actions from these in a timely manner

* • Demonstrating an understanding of the equipment that they sell to a level that enables the individual to perform Technical Support calls.
* • Demonstrate actions in a customer centric manner
* • Work collaboratively and in a manner that serves those around them
* • Analytical
* • Able to make good decisions under pressure
Desirable Qualifications/Skills
* • Ability to understand technical aspects of the role therefore previous experience working with food manufacturing/packaging equipment is advantageous.
